Production Manager

 

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager for FF News, a b2b media outlet in the Fintech industry. This is a 12 month fixed term contract (to cover maternity leave) with a potential to extend.

We are looking for someone confident and personable with great communication and organisational skills. Knowledge of the roles and relationships within media outlets as well as corporate structures and events would be ideal.

The team work from home for the majority of the role, but candidates must be willing and able to travel nationally & internationally for in person events. Candidates should be based in or around London with good transport links.

 

THE ROLE

 

As part of the website team, you’ll be responsible for helping to maintain our online content output through a variety of digital channels. You’ll be helping to ensure that we have a steady flow of content published for our readers and that our stories are shared on social media for maximum reach & impact.

Quality & Consistency are vital in the financial services sector. So, you won’t just be responsible for helping us reach our content targets. You’ll also be responsible for making sure that all of the content you put out is top-notch from a quality perspective, in keeping with our brand guidelines.

In this role, you’ll need to be comfortable working both independently & in a team setting. Some pieces of content will be entirely down to you, whilst for others you’ll need to coordinate with our video & editorial teams.

This role is fully remote, but there are opportunities to travel to London for company events. Your working hours will be 8:30am – 5:30pm, Monday – Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing beginning to end production flow to make sure it stays on schedule, meets the client’s needs and deliverables are fulfilled.
  • Project Management of editorial, commercial and bespoke content.
  • Outsourcing guests & speakers for content creation.
  • Client & stakeholders liaison .
  • Comfortable leading Production meetings with clients.
  • Marketing – communicating with PR/web team to arrange content promotion.
  • Responsible for scheduling content to go live on the FF News website, etc.
  • Communicating with various teams and freelancers to meet targets and deadlines.
  • Media Partnerships management.
  • Organising media production at industry events and trade shows.
  • Development of weekly newsletter.

Requirements

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Knowledge of the roles & relationships within corporate industry structures and events would be ideal.
  • Reliable and personable team player
  • General understanding of Project management and CRM systems
  • Proven experience in a similar role / transferable skills.
  • Good IT literacy and a strong, reliable internet connection.

Media Sales Executive 

Are you a go-getter and confident? Are you interested in building a career within Media Sales? FF News is looking for Media Sales Executives to join us!
The salary will start at £24,720 + uncapped commission of 15%. Salary band increases with every £50K worth of advertising booked. Minimum OTE: Year 1 = £40K+Minimum OTE: Year 2 = £60K+Minimum OTE: Year 3 = £100K+
Commission is uncapped… . 100K sold – you take 15K. 1M sold – you take £150K. …so how much is earned is really down to the Candidate.

What does FF News do?
As one of the leading media outlets in the B2B Fintech Space, we work on behalf of a number of technology and finance firms. We work across multiple media channels such as online, print, and predominantly video, to put our clients into the limelight in the fintech space.

How you expect the candidate to spend their day:

You will be responsible for selling advertising space for Online Web Banners, Magazine Article and Video Sponsorship . In doing so your main, day to day roles include:

  • Planning end-to-end Marketing campaigns with clients across video, print & online
  • Lead sourcing
  • Prospecting new business (Phone, Email, Video Chat, F2F)
  • Attend in person events and client shoots
  • Account management of existing clients• Meeting all admin expectations such as maintaining CRM, Email, ERP processes and pipeline

The ideal candidate’s personality and qualifications:

  • To be successful in this role it is vital to have strong telephony skills and the willingness to make a call before sending an email.
  • To help with this you will need to display confidence.
  • A strong personality can be beneficial, but you must have the drive and determination to handle and overcome difficult calls.
  • No formal qualifications are required, but real world experience, and speed in ability to learn the trends in the Fintech space a massive advantage
