“When I track and look at the development of my thinking of the last 20 years particularly, it’s gone in a very different direction to the way I expected. So, throughout the 2000’s it was very much about the banking regulations and the integration of the eurozone. Then, we had the financial collapse of 2008, and then the last 10 years has been mainly about fintech and the rise of startups and challenges to the traditional banking system.”

“So the last few years has been around how technology and finance can come together to make the world a better place. Looking at biodiversity and the role of the financial ecosystem in making the world a better place and how technology can help with that. What motivates me is always ‘what’s next, and what’s next is this friction between decentralizing vs centralizing structures.
