About Simon Pink

Simon Pink He is passionate about helping organizations identify and adopt emerging technologies for better business outcomes. He identifies, collaborates, and invests in early-stage (Series A) companies that are applying emerging technologies within the Commercial Insurance industry (InsurTech) across the UK and Europe. His purpose is to help customers better understand and mitigate new and emerging risks to improve their operational resilience. A specific focus area for him is the ethical and responsible use of data and AI across commercial insurance. For example, Geospatial, the use of Generative AI, and Cyber resilience technologies.  Simon is the technology investment lead for QBE Ventures in Europe. He defines the direction for new and existing venture investments and portfolio companies through the application of emerging technologies. Simon joined QBE Ventures after nearly 25 years with IBM where he worked with Financial Services businesses across Europe in the design and delivery of technology led change. Simon Pink, based in Reading, GB, is currently a Visual Merchandiser - Interior Stylist - Creative Director at Freelance.
