Alex Benjamin is the Head of Global Business Development at Aevi, where he is responsible for devising a strategy for expanding the Aevi business across North America and Europe. With over 16 years of experience in the payments industry, he is a globally-minded and award-winning payments executive with extensive knowledge of FinTech, payment processing, and integrated payment solutions. Prior to joining Aevi, Alex worked at top-tier payments companies including Worldpay, American Express, and Paysafe, where he honed his expertise in the field. He is passionate about evangelizing the future of payment acceptance and collaborating with customers and partners to implement new and innovative payment solutions that support next-generation in-person payment experiences. Throughout his career, he has been recognized with both the President's Club and Leadership Circle awards at a global leader in payments. He has supported cross-border companies by driving their growth in markets with minimal presence and has led corporate development initiatives, opening new lines of business. He is motivated by working with passionate people who leverage technology and a forward-thinking mentality to transform businesses that are largely dependent on legacy infrastructure. Prior to that, they held roles at Paysafe Group, Worldpay, Acculynk, BlueSnap, American Express, WorldPay, BB&T, and JPMorgan Chase, where they focused on driving revenue growth, forming strategic partnerships, and building strong client relationships. Throughout their career, Alex has demonstrated a track record of success in achieving sales goals and delivering sustainable growth for their companies. From 2003 to 2007, Alex Benjamin attended Florida State University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics.
